GentleTrack Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

None. GentleTrack does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All habit data, mood logs, and settings are stored exclusively on your device using local storage.

2. Data Storage

All data created within GentleTrack is stored locally on your device. This includes:

• Habit entries (binary, numeric, and time-based)
• Mood log entries
• App settings and preferences
• Backup files you choose to create

We do not have access to this data, and it never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it using the JSON backup feature.

3. Accounts and Authentication

GentleTrack does not require or offer user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or authentication of any kind. You start using the app immediately upon installation.

4. Analytics and Tracking

GentleTrack contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, no usage telemetry, and no crash reporting tools. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or any similar service.

5. Advertising

GentleTrack contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs. We do not work with ad networks or data brokers.

6. Third-Party Services

GentleTrack does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The only external interaction is the optional in-app purchase through the platform's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store), which is governed by that platform's own privacy policy.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not have any data to share. No personal information, usage data, or device information is ever transmitted from the app.

8. Backup and Export

GentleTrack provides a JSON backup and restore feature. When you create a backup, the file is saved to your device's local storage. You have full control over this file. We never access, upload, or process backup files.

9. Children's Privacy

Because GentleTrack collects no data whatsoever, there are no special concerns regarding children's privacy. The app is safe for users of all ages.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Given our commitment to zero data collection, we do not anticipate significant changes.
